Toronto has always been home to incredible basketball talent, yet for years, many of its top players have left to make their mark elsewhere. As a result, no one had truly stayed to claim the title of king of Toronto’s courts—until now. Nike Crown League was created to change that, showcasing homegrown talent and solidifying Toronto’s place in basketball royalty. This elite summer league brought together the city’s best players in a high-stakes, high-energy competition, putting Toronto at the center of the basketball conversation.
Working alongside Nike and Anomaly, we carefully planned the rollout of video content, social media campaigns, and a website launch leading up to the league’s debut. The website first served as a registration portal, giving players the opportunity to be selected for a team. This phase built anticipation and exclusivity, drawing in Toronto’s most skilled and competitive athletes, all eager for a chance to prove themselves on their home turf.
Once the teams were set, the website evolved into the central hub for all things Crown League. It became the go-to destination for fans to pre-register for game attendance, ensuring exclusive access to the high-energy matchups. Weekly video recaps and highlight reels kept the excitement alive, allowing fans to relive the action and stay connected to the competition. More than just a league, Crown League established itself as a movement, cementing Toronto’s status as a force in the basketball world.
